For the class of 2016 some advice I could give is to not slack off and make sure you use your time in class or else you will come home with a lot of homework. In 8th grade you have a lot more freedom but you need to know how to handle it. Also, there is many great teachers in 8th grade just make sure you don't get on their bad side!
Some of the most important advice for 8th grade is to make a lot of new friends and do not get into all of the drama of rumors and talking behind peoples back. By staying away from these things it will make everything a lot easier and more fun. Good luck in 8th grade!
