Clocks

The repeating tick of the clock reminds you each second that your life is getting shorter…
That that one particular moment will never happen again, lost in the past
It makes everything a routine; get up 7:00, go to sleep 10:00
But Why?
Is life not to valuable to measure, to dwell on every little second
Time should blissfully pass, not sadly vanish by the annoying tick-tock of the clock

Ocean Waves

The ocean waves crash upon the sand
Washing them back and forth to no end…
With the sun making the waves shine
Sending a fluorescent glow reaching to the heavens
Touching every angels soul
Sending a brilliant warmth through them that can never be changed

Ice-Cream

Sweet and cold,
This wonderful taste never gets old,
Whip-cream or sprinkles,
Carmel or fudge,
Just be careful, you don’t want pudge!

Fate

It stood there alone and abandoned. Dark bare trees surrounded it at every side, the branches stuck out looking like claws ready to grab you at any awaiting moment. You wanted to run, but couldn’t. Your body wasn’t functioning the way you wanted it to. Then you realized the trees were slowly creeping in on you. Surrounding you. There was no place and no one to turn to. You were alone, abandoned. Ready to accept fate on your own.

Sweet Smores

Laughing sticky faces; gleaming all around
Sweet and goey goodness, dropping to the ground
Soft and chewy marshmallows, turning a golden brown
Little children burn them, their faces turnin' a frown
Never ever bake them
Or I will never take them
A true smore is always roasted
And never toasted

Spring

Brightly colored flowers blossum,
New creatures creep out of their safe homes,
.... Away from their protective mothers
A light breeze whips at your hair; setting it free
...The beautiful moments of spring.
